Ivan Tavrin Was Appointed as First Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Ivan Tavrin has been appointed as first deputy chief executive officer of the second largest Russian mobile network operator MegaFon.

Ivan Tavrin was born on November 1, 1976 in Moscow. He graduated from the International Legal Department of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
In 1997, he founded Construct-Region that became the largest agency in the regional advertising market.
In 2002, he founded and became the head of Regional Media Group that combined TV and radio assets.
In 2006, after merger of TV assets of Regional Media Group and TV-3 television network, Ivan Tavrin became President of TV-3, and Member of the company’s Board of Directors.
In 2007, Mr. Tavrin established Media-One Holding and became Chairman of the Board of Directors. Also in 2007, he created Vyberi Radio Group that was focused on consolidation of radio stations, and today it is the largest radio group in this country.
In 2009, after merger of TV assets of Media-One and AF Media Holding, he became Chief Executive Officer of UTH media holding, and afterwards he became Chairman of the Board.
In 2009, he was awarded as the Manager of the Year.
He is member of the Executive Board of the National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasters.
